Kordahi is at the center of a diplomatic dispute for issuing opinions on the Yemen war that Riyadh described as hostile and insulting.
According to the minister and close sources, he will not resign and neither will he change his statements regarding the absurdity of the conflict in the poorest Arab nation and that the Houthi rebels are facing an aggression led by the Saudi kingdom.
He will not step down, Al Mayadeen assured, despite the escalation in which a pressure campaign was prepared against Beirut.
The minister expects to adopt a decision, after assuring that, if he resigns, there will be a positive reaction from Riyadh and the Arab States of the Persian Gulf, which supported the Saudi kingdom in the dispute.
