Iran suggests US to learn from its defeats

Vocero, declaraciones
Tehran, Nov 3 (Prensa Latina) Iran on Wednesday suggested the United States to learn from its defeats to avoid another more in the negotiations to revive the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) or nuclear deal.

The US Government abandoned that deal in May 2018, at the request of former President Donald Trump, and reimposed oppressive measures against the Islamic Republic.

And in no case, it brought changes in Tehran’s stances, which responded to the so-called policy of maximum pressure with maximum resistance.

According to Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh, issuing threats were never useful in dealing with Iran.

The US proposals in the region led it to failure, the spokesman said, and the world witnessed those defeats. If that northen country continues with those sanctions, it will add another one to Iran.

The United States, which put the JCPOA in crisis, should take into account the lessons of the past, Khatibzadeh wrote in a message on social media.
