Kazem Qaribabadi, Vice-President of the Judiciary for International Affairs of the Human Rights Commission, criticized the silence of those alleged activists in the face of the repeated and serious Israeli transgressions.
Tel Aviv’s disrespectful audacity went so far as to rip up the report by the General Assembly president, which condemns and criticizes the Israeli regime, the Iranian official said on social media.
This is the second time that an Israeli representative has taken the same action, after the United Nations in 1975 declared Zionism as a form of racism, Qaribabadi recalled.
The Iranian official’s views allude the event staged by Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations Gilad Erdan, who tore up the Human Rights Council annual report during a speech at the plenary session of the General Assembly.
