“The truth always sounds louder in the voice of dignified men,” Diaz-Canel wrote on his Twitter account.
The head of State also tweeted an article containing new evidence on the destabilization attempts promoted in Cuba by extreme right sectors in the United States.
On Monday, “Razones de Cuba” (Cuba’s Reasons) TV news program showed the testimony, with photos, audios and videos, from Doctor Carlos Leonardo Vazquez, who was agent “Fernando” of the State Security corps for 25 years.
The agent explained the links between terrorist organizations and their representatives, based in the United States, with the promoters of a demonstration that was declared unconstitutional and illegal by the Cuban Government.
The news program produced evidence that the leader of the Archipelago platform, Junior Garcia Aguilera, seeks a confrontation with security forces to generate insecurity and destabilization.
In recent days, the Cuban Government has presented evidence of the links between the promoters of the demonstration and representatives of organizations, such as the Cuban-American National Foundation and the Democracy Movement, based in Florida.
According to Monday’s denunciation, the self-styled “March for Change” seeks to create a climate of ungovernability just on the day Cuba will reopen its borders.
