Hashem Safi al-Din, head of Hezbollah’s Executive Council, affirmed that the Saudi decision predates Kordahi’s statements.
On Friday, Saudi Arabia called its Ambassador to Beirut, gave 48 hours for his Lebanese peer to leave the kingdom and suspended all Lebanese imports.
Safi al-Din believed that the Saudi authorities would not tolerate any criticism if they broadcast his secret talks with Israel, however, he did not issue any response on that matter.
In August, a month before taking office, Kordahi considered the war in Yemen absurd, adding Houthi rebels were fighting an aggression by a military alliance led by the Saudi kingdom.
