The events occurred off the coast of the island of ‘La Gonave’, northwest of this capital, confirmed police sources, cited by the digital platform of Gazette Haiti.

During the operation, Williams Canute Wesley, 47, Walters Garfield Donovan, 35, and Williams Ellian, 20, were arrested and taken to the Office for the fight against Drug Trafficking as ordered by the justice of peace.

Last May, the Police seized 2,000 kilograms of marijuana hidden in two vehicles traveling to this capital, and concealed in white plastic bags.
