Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani arrived in Brussels, Belgium, for a round of talks aimed at reviving the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) or nuclear deal.
Iran is determined to participate in negotiations to lift illegal measures, ensure normalization of economic relations and obtain guarantees of no further non-compliance,’ he said.
Earlier, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi stated that both Washington and the European signatories do not reflect the same level of commitment as the Islamic Republic, compared to what was sealed in the deal.
Those talks include seeking a way so that the United States can return to the treaty it abandoned and oppressive anti-Iranian measures ordered by the White House are also eliminated.
Without the US participation, Iran and the other five world powers began a dialogue in the Austrian capital which, after six rounds, has been on pause since June.
