The central administration reported that 70.1 percent of the country’s 125 million inhabitants has received the two shots of the Covid-19 vaccines, thus Japan ranks among the top three first countries of the G7 most industrialized nations.
According to the source, 90.4 percent of people over 65 years of age has been completely vaccinated, compared to 60.8 percent of people in their 30s.
These population groups are followed by 57 percent of people in their 20s and 47.7 percent of minors aged 12-19.
According to the Japanese government, a total of 185.98 million doses have been administered in the country so far, and 76.7 percent of the population has received at least a shot.
