New Delhi, Oct 24 (Prensa Latina) Representatives of India and Cuba ratified the common will to strengthen the political dialogue between both chancelleries and boost bilateral trade and economic ties, diplomatic sources informed today.

This was known this Sunday after the visit of the Cuban ambassador-designate in New Delhi, Alejandro Simancas, to the deputy secretary of the Ministry of External Affairs of India, Gloria Gangte, who is in charge of the Division of Latin America and the Caribbean.

During the meeting held at the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs both parties reviewed the main issues of the bilateral agenda, the source added.

Previously, Simancas was received at the headquarters of the Export-Import Bank of India (Eximbank) by its general manager, Nirmit Ved, and the meeting highlighted the progress of relations and the development of trade, economic and financial ties between the two countries.
