The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) noted that Cuban Ambassador to the DPRK Jesus de los Angeles Aise Sotolongo headed a delegation of diplomats who visited the Museum of the Korean Revolution.
After paying tribute in front of the statues of former North Korean Presidents Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, they toured several rooms, where photos and data show the strength of the friendly and cooperative relations between the two nations.
Aise Sotolongo said the visit helped him to understand better the history of friendship between Cuba and the DPRK, and expressed his will to contribute to strengthening those traditional ties.
The then minister of the Cuban Revolutionary Armed Forces traveled to the DPRK along with Cuban President Osvaldo Dorticos between October 26 and 29, 1966, at the invitation of the highest North Korean authorities.
