The request comes after the publication of some recordings by The Intercept, an investigation magazine based in the United States, which allow determining that Lopez would be the mastermind of the assassination plot, Bolivia TV reported.
According to the magazine’s investigation, Bolivia was on the verge of a new coup d’etat and an armed invasion by US mercenaries after Arce’s electoral victory in October 2020.
The national Government had access to intercepted audios, model contracts and e-mails that attribute the destabilization plan to Lopez.
