Since March 11, 2020, Cuba has reported 941,562 cases, as well as 8,133 deaths, the national epidemiology chief at the Public Health Ministry, Dr. Francisco Duran, said in his usual morning television appearance.

He added that 20,165 people are in hospitals, including 11,898 suspected cases, 1,875 in epidemiological surveillance and 6,392 patients with the active virus, 597 fewer than on the previous day, the lowest number in almost a month.
