This Thursday, the Ministry of Health notified another 3,92 thousand people infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus, 370 less than the previous day and one of the lowest figures in the last four months, bringing the total to 853,842.
There were also 81 deaths reported, bringing the total of deceases to 20,950.
More than 40,600,000 people have received an injection of one of the various vaccines applied by the country, while some 16,800 have completed two doses.
The April 27 outbreak is showing clear signs of abating and in almost all localities the containment measures have been relaxed, including the southern city of Ho Chi Minh, epicenter of the fourth wave of the disease.
In this capital city, public transport services were reestablished today and hotels, restaurants and cafes were allowed to open at 50 percent of their capacity.
Earlier today, the Government announced that it will soon enact a resolution aimed at favoring productive and commercial activities as part of the economic and social recovery program.
