Ediciones Politica Internacional Publishing House from the Raul Roa Garcia Higher Institute of International Relations (ISRI) released the book, which is a compilation of Lopez, who is also a poet and an educator. He shares his experiences as Cuba’s representative to the United Nations, UNESCO, China, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Maldives and Myanmar.
According to Abelardo Moreno, advisor to Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez, the book is of special interest to those who are training to become future diplomats, as it bears the imprint of a person carrying out all the functions with high-impact initiatives and a high level of responsibility, creativity, talent and modesty.
The advisor also highlighted Lopez’s noteworthy capacity for synthesis, which makes for a pleasant reading without losing the political sense of the content, as well as his universal culture, fidelity and permanent interest in knowing, creating and contributing.
Lopez also worked as a literature professor at the Enrique Jose Varona Higher Pedagogical Institute of Havana, and at the University of Havana as deputy dean of the School of Humanities and president of the University Extension Commission.
