Yuniasky Crespo, member of the Provincial Bureau of the Communist Party of Cuba in Havana, said on Tuesday that the initiative is extended to 65 communities in the capital with support of grass-roots organizations and local entities.
This program, which will reach the country’s all provinces, also includes the efforts of the delegates in the districts, who watch over the needs of the community, Perez stated on the Mesa Redonda (Round Table) radio and TV program.
According to the official, the project maintains one of the essences of the revolutionary process and the work by the local People’s Power bodies: to attend to the problems of vulnerable sectors now with support of the ministries.
Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel recently called for systematizing transformation actions as well as strengthening the work to improve the quality of life of the population.
