It commended Algeria’s position, headed by its President Abdelmadjid Tebbounne, who spares no effort to defend the legitimate fight of the Saharawi people, condemned to the intransigence and annexationist claims of the Moroccan makhzem.
Makhzem is an Arab word that formerly described the Moroccan State and currently refers to what Saharawis consider its oligarchy and shadow government.
Furthermore, the statement expressed satisfaction for the ruling of the Justice Court of the European Union that reaffirmed the difference between the territories of Western Sahara and Morocco and annuled the illegal agreements between Rabat and the European Union (…), a flagrant violation of international law.
