The president of this entity, Óscar Schemel, informed that according to a survey carried out on the possibility or not of participating in the next elections, 52 percent of those consulted indicated that they will attend.
During an interview offered to Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), the expert highlighted the willingness of a large sector of the Venezuelan population to settle differences at the polls.
He informed that other surveys also indicate that on average, three out of four Venezuelans have an unfavorable opinion of most of the Venezuelan opposition actors. At least 83 percent of those consulted indicate that they do not agree with the decisions and actions of the opposition representatives, Shemel pointed out in this regard.
He underlined that the revolutionary forces have to continue and accelerate the understanding of the new realities, ‘there is a political center which is chavista and is waiting to be listened to and that means building new narratives, new messages, new symbols to incorporate other sectors’.
