Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf said Washington must abandon the so-called policy of maximum pressure and lift all coercive measures that are part of that stance.
‘Any agreement must lead to the removal of the anti-Iranian blockade and contain benefits for the interests of the Islamic Republic,’ he said.
Qalibaf reiterated that the US Government abandoned the deal signed in 2015 by Tehran and the 5+1 group (the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Russia and China plus Germany), so it has to take the first step toward its return.
‘Iran’s compliance with nuclear obligations cannot be accepted, without they do it first,’ he added.
