The shipment will include medicines, canned meat and powdered milk, supplies that will be supervised by the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Regional Executive Committee of the city of Grodno, Sputnik news agency reported.
Belorussian Deputy Foreign Minister, Evgeny Shestakov, told Cuban Ambassador in Minsk Juan Valdes that the Ministry of Emergency Situations will be in charge of organizing this solidarity shipment to Cuba.
For its part, the Ministry of Finance will allocate funds to reimburse the cost of tangible assets, from the Republican budget funds allocated to finance expenses for natural disasters, accidents and catastrophes.
In September, Belorussian authorities also approved humanitarian aid for Venezuela worth about 560,000 dollars to purchase medicines and Covid-19 personal protective gear.
Minsk also donated medicines, sugar, transformers, bodyworks of transportation means and different kinds of trucks specialized in construction, all domestically produced, to Syria.
