The audiovisual that exposes through the voice of family members the horror experienced after the explosion in mid-flight of the Cubana de Aviación flight 455, carrying 73 people on board, will be screened at the National Cinematheque in Caracas.

The documentary, released in 2017, is the result of two years of work by Segovia and his team after collecting testimonies of what happened on October 6th, 1976, when an explosive device detonated on board the plane minutes after taking off from the Seawell airport, in Barbados.

Seventeen interviews were selected for the documentary, among them, those of relatives of the victims, three diplomats, the Venezuelan journalist Alicia Herrera; Nicanor León, author of the ‘Crime in Barbados’ book, and Ernesto Villegas, co-author of El terrorista de los Bush (‘The Bush’s Terrorist’).

The work is a denunciation of terrorism, the impunity of the United States and the authors of the attack, who never paid for one of the most horrendous events that shocked international public opinion, said the author of the book.
