Somali Lawmakers Abdirahman Idou and Mohamed Dhire were injured by an improvised explosive device in the southern town of Jowhar, as they were returning to Mogadishu after attending a ceremony, according to the official story.

In late September, three legislators were wounded in a similar action, for which Al Shabab also took responsibility.

Al Shabab is the main enemy of the central Government headed by President Abdullahi Mohamed, also known as Farmaajo, it was recalled.
