The newspapers published extensive reports with photos of the tribute paid to the martyrs of Tlatelolco next to the La Estela monument in the Plaza de las Tres Culturas, where most of the victims of the massacre were killed.

An assembly was held after the tribute, with various social, student and popular organizations presenting a series of proposals to counteract the scenario of marginality, violence and precariousness that currently exists in the country.

The various contingents raised their voices in demand of punishment for those responsible for the acts of violence in Tlatelolco.

They also took the opportunity to denounce other historical grievances, including the disappearance of the 43 students from Ayotzinapa.

National newspapers such as La Jornada and Milenio highlight the participation of groups of students from various pedagogical schools in the country, as well as from various universities and institutes.

Unions, neighborhood and popular organizations also presented their demands. According to reports, the march went smoothly, as did the rally at night at the Zócalo.
