During a speech, the minister called to participate in the second edition of the Cuba 2021 Business Forum, which will be held virtually from November 29 to December 2.
He said that the aim of the forum is to promote trade and foreign investment in Cuba.
He added that, amid this Covid-19 pandemic, this forum will be an exchange venue between domestic and foreign businesspeople.
He insisted that the country’s new economic actors will have the chance to assess the situation and the future.
He said that potential attendees will be representatives of non-state enterprises, from the government, the Chambers of Commerce and Trade and Investment Promotion Agencies.
That will be the time to interact and exchange ideas on business and trade with Cuba, he said.
At the second forum, they are planning to provide spaces for information and exchange of ideas about the changes in Cuban economy.
He said this will be an excellent opportunity to learn about our main export products (goods and services) and the effects and the congruence of businesses in prioritized sectors such as the pharmaceutical, tourism and agri-food ones.
As part of this event, a virtual fair that will allow businesspeople to exhibit their products through the platform of the Business Forum will be held for the first time, he commented.
In addition, a business forum will be held with the participation of Cuban residents abroad with interests and businesses in Cuba, which will contribute to further strengthen the ties between Cuban residents abroad and the island.
