On its website, the channel reported that, according to Cuban authorities, 32 of these enterprises are private and three, state-owned, under the legislation for their creation across the country.
It added that the recently approved economic actors are part of a process that is complemented by reforms for non-agricultural cooperatives and self-employment (private) in Cuba.
The Bolivian TV channel also reported that, according to the Ministry of Economy and Planning of Cuba, the MSMEs are not conceived as second-hand or subsistence enterprises, but to generate a high added value, contribute to the nation’s GDP and to have a professional potential.
