The Palestinian Foreign Ministry specified that Riyad al Maliki met on Saturday UNSG to tackle down on latest events in Gaza and the West Bank.
Mr. Al Maliki condemned house demolitions, forced evictions, executions on the ground, arbitrary arrests, blockade against Gaza and daily attacks by Jewish settlers on Palestinian civilians.
The Palestinian minister laid stress on the right of Palestinians to self-determination and to have a state of their own, a possibility rebuffed by Israeli Prime Minister Naftalí Bennett.
He also urged UN to create and implement a protection mechanism for Palestinians and to hold a peace conference under the auspices of the International Quartet (United States, Russia and the European Union).
