On his Twitter account, the head of Cuban diplomacy referred to the will to strengthen economic, commercial and cooperation ties between the two countries.
Rodriguez held bilateral meetings with counterparts from different nations in the framework of the high-level segment of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly, which will last until September 27.
As usual, bilateral meetings are planned between senior dignitaries and diplomatic representatives who attend in person the biggest event held at the UN every year.
During the high-level general debate, world leaders will focus their attention on two fundamental issues: the Covid-19 pandemic and climate change.
