The measure adopted by the Pontifical Commission of the State of the Vatican City also recognizes the European or any other foreign certificates ‘that demonstrate that someone has been vaccinated, has recently recovered from the coronavirus or has tested negative.’
The provision exempts those attending liturgical celebrations for ‘the time strictly necessary for the development of the rite,’ without prejudice to the health regulations in force, such as social distancing, wearing personal safety devices and certain hygiene rules.
