Xi also referred to the reforms undertaken by Lopez Obrador and wished him success in his efforts to improve social welfare, after the mutual support in situations such as the Covid-19 pandemic was highlighted.

Finally, the Chinese president assured that he attaches great importance to the development of China-Mexico relations and remarked his willingness to work with Lopez Obrador to deepen trust and cooperation between the two nations.
