Torrential rains usually fall in Sudan between June and October, therefore, the country faces severe flooding every year, wrecking properties, infrastructure and crops.
According to a UN report, the heavy rains and floods have already affected 102,000 people from July to September, so that 50 villages have been submerged in southern Sudan, 65,000 people were displaced and South Sudanese refugee camps were totally inundated.
