Bennett ‘will not meet and has no intention of meeting’ with Abbas, Shaked said during a conference at Reichman University’s Anti-Terrorism Policy Institute, according to The Jerusalem Post.
The official accused the Palestinian leader of paying money to terrorists, a term used by Tel Aviv to refer to militiamen who fight Israel’s Occupation of Palestinian lands.
Those statements coincided with the prime minister’s visit on Monday to Egypt, where he met with President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, whose Government is pushing for a return to the negotiating table between Israel and the PNA.
In July, Shaked also ruled out any freeze on expansion and development of the Israeli settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
