According to Cuban diplomatic sources, on behalf of Havana, Antonio Carricarte, president of the Chamber of Commerce, signed the document, while on behalf of Yerevan, Martin Sargsyan, his counterpart from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of that country penned the accord.

The agreement will facilitate consultations, the exchange of information and experiences in trading matters, the establishment of new contacts, as well as the strengthening of existing links between companies, organizations and business people from both nations.

It will also allow intensifying relations in technological matters and will serve as support for the strengthening of bilateral cooperation, providing legal advice, spaces for business research, industrial and commercial registration, and coordination between partners.

The video conference was also attended by Cuban Ambassador to Armenia Emilio Pevida, who resides in Nursultan, Kazakhstan, and representatives of companies from the two countries from several sectors, such as biotechnology, tourism, industry and telecommunications.
