The official gave details of the health operation already launched that will take place in the whole country.

The minister pointed out that Argentina is a few hours away from an election in a very particular context, since it is the first electoral process in times of Covid-19.

De Pedro recalled that thanks to an agreement between all political forces, it was possible to gain five weeks of time to advance in the vaccination and more than 12 million doses were administered.

This achievement, he said, represents the greatest measure of health security, the result of the maturity and consensus of all partisan blocs.

De Pedro highlighted that they worked from the experience of 100 countries that held elections amid a pandemic, and invited Argentinians to vote calmly, and wished everyone a very good election.
