According to statistics of the Secretariat of Health, Mexico has accumulated 3,449,295 contagions and 264,541 deaths since March 2020 when the first decease was reported.

Still, there is downward trend in the epidemic curve according to data from August 22 to 28, with a decrease by minus 24 percent compared to the previous week, the report indicates.

Regarding Covid-19 vaccination campaign, the Secretariat informed that 525,667 doses were administrated on Tuesday.

As of this last report, 66 percent of people aged 18 years and older had received at least one dose. A total of 36,190,731 individuals have the complete vaccination scheme.
