According to the source, the Cambodian capital is on its way to become the most vaccinated city in Southeast Asia, so the reopening of borders for international travelers is possible.
Authorities are also considering the reduction or total elimination of the 14-day quarantine for tourists who produce a negative Covid-19 test taken 72 hours prior to travel upon arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport.
Cambodia is currently the second most vaccinated country in Southeast Asia after Singapore.
The Kingdom has already immunized more than 60 percent of its 16.5 million people, while more than 95 percent of its 2.1 million residents in the capital are already fully vaccinated.
