The behavior of infections was also low in relative terms: 17,135 in the 24 hours of Monday, which raised the accumulated number of infections to 7,934,119.
Both statistics are low compared to the situation in other areas of the planet where the disease is ravaging both the number of deaths and the number of people infected, particularly due to the emergence of new and more aggressive variants of the virus.
