With the theme ‘Turn it on: sexual health in a digital world,’ this year’s event seeks to raise awareness about violations and abuses of these rights committed through the use of new technologies.
This initiative, which has different themes every year, has been promoted by the World Association for Sexual Health since 2010.
Cuba’s National Center for Sexual Education (CENESEX) joined this initiative with several actions on its social media.
A virtual conference on ‘Risk Factors of Child Sexual Abuse’ was held, and tutorials on this topic were developed, which were broadcast on Telegram and Facebook.
Another topic discussed at the conference was comprehensive sexual education as a fundametal tool in the prevention of sexual violence against children and teenagers.
