Gonzalez, Hero of the Republic of Cuba, will also be present in the Manifesta Festival, to be held from September 10 to 12 in Belgium; and will develop working visits to France and Spain, coinciding with the annual events of the newspapers of the communist parties in that continent.

As part of his agenda, the also legislator to the Cuban parliament will hold meetings with leaders of political organizations, solidarity exchanges, interviews with parliamentarians, among other actions.

The Avante Festival, with a tradition of over four decades, is a political and cultural initiative of Portugal’s Communist Party named after its newspaper.

Concerts, theater, cinema and political debates are part of its program, which is also family-oriented.
