During a meeting with schoolchildren on the occasion of Russia’s Knowledge Day, at the Children’s Centre ‘Ocean,’ the president stressed that Washington tried to ‘civilize’ that Central Asian nation by imposing its standards of living, included the political organization of society. Putin explained that ‘if someone does something for other people’, he must proceed from history, culture and the philosophy of those people, and he must respect their tradition.
The Russian president will stay until September 4 in Vladivostok, where he will personally attend the plenary session of the 6th Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), in which presidents, representatives and businessmen from several countries will participate, the Kremlin informed.
During his stay in the Far East, Putin will also visit educational centers, learn about the development of that region and on his return, he will visit the Vostochny cosmodrome in Russia’s Amur region.
