We confirm the terrible level of cruelty in the violence perpetrated against hundreds of people and the killing of 38 citizens, the state media’s Gender Committee argued in its request, the Bolivian Information Agency added.
This institution recalled a recent report by the Interdisciplinary Group of Independent Experts (GIEI-Bolivia) to call for justice against ‘those responsible for terrorism, massacres, tortures, paramilitarism and corruption.’
‘Only this way we will be able to start national reconciliation,’ the Gender Committee said when demanding the vindication of the victims, ‘most of whom were young people from several cities’ in Bolivia.
This government institution also demanded clarification of the facts surrounding the 2019 election, especially ‘the supposed fraud in the votes alleged by the Organization of American States,’ which supported the coup d’état against the constitutional government.
