The complaint may allege that the regional body’s document contributed to violence that resulted in many deaths and injuries in November of that year, ambassador to the OAS, Héctor Arce, added to Bolivia TV.
Almagro falsified the truth and then breached an agreement with the Bolivian government regarding the 2019 general elections, the diplomat recalled.
Arce recalled that the country had already made a public complaint against Almagro during a session of OAS Permanent Council, for acts of interference in Bolivian internal affairs.
‘We will use up all instances of international law’, the ambassador said about the possible accusation before these entities.
According to Arce, after the mentioned Bolivian complaint, the OAS could ‘become aware, and Mr. Almagro, out of a minimum of ethics, once this situation is known, be removed from his position, based on the facts, on the truth’.
