‘Our military-technical cooperation with African countries has developed steadily and constructively over the past five years,’ Shugáev stressed at the International Military-Technical Forum ¨Army-2021¨, which is held through August 28.
Shugáev also said that North African countries mainly buy firearms, air defense systems, naval equipment, while sub-Saharan nations purchase helicopters, airplanes, air defense systems and armored vehicles, the Sputnik news agency reported.
Plus, he pointed out that Africa´s requests for military products worth $14 billion, of which $3 billion goes to sub-Saharan countries.
