In its morning report, the Ministry stated that, with these figures, Mexico totals 3,152,205 Covid-19 contagions since February 2020 when the first case of the disease was detected. The death toll rose to 250,469.
The report indicates that the epidemic curve resumed its upward trend with an increase of 2.2 percent from August 1 to 7, compared to the previous week.
Likewise, the number of active patients increased to 12,557, totaling 145,716.
Meanwhile, the vaccination plan made progress with the administration of 656,489 coronavirus vaccines, so 78,765,073 doses have been administered nationwide.
