The head of Government said in a communique that Tel Aviv authorities stepped up ethnic cleansing, house demolitions and the appropriation of land and property in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
Shtayyeh also called on the UN and humanitarian organizations to condemn the murder on Monday of four Palestinian citizens in Jenin, a city in the northern West Bank.
Akram Rajoub, governor of Jenin, described the event as a massacre and rejected Tel Aviv’s versions of an alleged combat there as lies.
According to Israeli authorities, special units of the Border Police entered the town to arrest a member of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and were shot, to which they responded with fire.
For its part, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that it will take the case to the International Criminal Court in The Hague and other international organizations.
