During a meeting with Cuban Ambassador in Japan Miguel A. Ramírez, Wada Keiji was also acquainted with Cuba´s complex situation and negative aftermaths of the hostile US policy on Cuban economy, diplomatic sources reported.

In this scenario, Cuba is presently developing several vaccine candidates against Covid-19 and a vaccination campaign, events arising Keiji´s interest.

Ramirez enlightened about Cuba´s vaccination scheme that protects the entire population for free from 13 diseases, including hepatitis B, pertussis and tetanus.
