Military spokesman Gharib Abdel-Hafez said in a communique that 15 automatic rifles, abundant ammunition and several motorcycles used by the radical groups to carry out their attacks, were seized.
In early August, the army informed that it killed 89 terrorists in that Egyptian region during an offensive, although the date of the campaign was not specified.
In those operations, it added, 73 machine guns, 140 chargers, drones with night vision and money were confiscated, while more than 400 explosive devices were deactivated.
