Bolivian Minister of Government, Eduardo Del Castillo, also shared a tweet to recall the 95th birthday of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro, whom he described as ‘a man that proved that firm principles and the fight against imperialism in all its forms render a revolution invincible.’
The country’s press also paid tribute to Fidel’s legacy, recalled by revolutionaries across the world on this day.
From the region, Executive Secretary of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America – Peoples’ Trade Treaty, Sacha LLorenti, tweeted that ‘Fidel wrote many of the most beautiful pages of the liberation of the peoples of America, Africa and Asia.’
‘His struggle, his revolutionary example and his statesmanship are unparalleled. Free peoples follow and will follow Fidel’s ideas,’ Llorenti said.
