The CDPC noted in its report that the previous day the accumulated death toll in the Sub-Saharan countries, due to causes associated to the pandemic, reached 179,969, so they are in the second to the last place, followed by the Middle East and Oceania.
Likewise, the CDPC reported that the number of contagions detected on Wednesday was 34,152, slightly higher than on Tuesday and Wednesday, although with a marked upward trend.
The CDPC added that the total number of Covid-19 cases since the outbreak of the pandemic in this part of the world rose to 7,121,257 patients
