Nikolov acknowledged in a communiqué the failed attempt to form a legislative majority to support an executive led by him.
ITN legislators left the Parliament hall and refused to vote on the document presented by the candidate to head of Government.
Legislator Nikolov withdrew his statement to accept the aforementioned position and recognized his inability to form a Government, says a resolution approved by the National Assembly.
Previously, the Democratic Bulgaria coalition and the Stand Up! Get Out! civic platform refused to support a joint cabinet with the ITN, winner of the July 11 elections.
