The online publication stated that the Center For A New American Security (CNAS) opened its doors to the best national security correspondents, while it receives huge funds from the weapons industry, the Pentagon and the State Department.

Imagine a country in which there is no separation among the Government, the military and the media. A lot of US citizens would think of China, Russia or North Korea, but this is a perfect description of the United States today, it noted.

The CNAS, considered the Democratic Party’s top foreign policy think tank, is funded by the State Department and the Pentagon, and has taken more money from weapons companies over the last several years than any other Washington’s think tank.

At least 16 CNAS alumni now hold in key positions in the Biden’s Pentagon and State Department.

Messages such as weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, lies about Iran’s attempt to create nuclear weapons and claims without evidence from intelligence agencies about Russian cyberattacks, were part of the obvious actions that violate the most basic journalistic ethics, the publication stressed.
