‘May political differences be dealt with politically without interference or meddling by anyone. The future of peoples must always be in the hands of the people,’ the text emphasizes.

The message expresses the admiration of congress members from the Free party for the Cuban people in their daily struggle for their independence, their right to development and the success of the Revolution that triumphed in 1959. ‘Honduras has always known first-hand Cuban solidarity and it would be mean and coward to ignore this, today that the Caribbean nation is under attack,’ the statement continues.

The ‘Free’ bench points out that in order to judge Cuba, the ‘so obsolete blockade’ must first end, the world’s year-after-year claim to the United Nations, ‘to United States’s deaf ears’.

Free party urged Hondurans not to fall into provocations, manipulations and false campaigns, promoted by those who are silent and are accomplices in the looting, corruption, violence and migration in this country.
